Quick answer

How do I resize a photo for SSC forms?

To resize a photo for SSC forms, upload a recent colour photo with a plain background and tap Resize for form. SSC is already selected, so Fileora crops it to the usual 3.5 × 4.5 cm shape and fits the JPG into the typical 20–50KB range. Confirm the current rules in your SSC notification.

What photo does SSC usually ask for?

SSC has asked for a recent colour photo with a light background, without a cap or glasses, in JPG between 20KB and 50KB. Some recent exams capture a live photo instead, so read the current notification.

Can I use the same photo for CGL, CHSL and MTS?

Yes, if it meets the current notification. Keep the original and resize it again if a new notification changes the size.

Questions people ask

My photo looks stretched. What do I do?

The tool crops instead of stretching. If your face is cut off, crop it first with Crop Image so your face is in the centre.

Is it free?

Yes.

Is my photo uploaded?

No.

Are these sizes official?

They are the sizes most notifications for these exams have used. Rules can change between notifications, so always check your official notice and edit the width, height or KB numbers to match.

What if my file is smaller than the minimum KB?

The tool adds harmless padding data to the JPG so it meets the minimum size. The picture itself does not change.
